Happy Belated Thanksgiving

Well with Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas to come, I’m having a hard time getting excited about Christmas.  Thanksgiving was harder than I thought It would be.  The whole day I kept thinking how David would of loved to be visiting with my Grandpa, Dad and Uncle about Cars, Hunting, and much more.  Eating plenty of good food and dessert then telling me that he eat to much.  Although I enjoyed seeing my moms side of the family it just wasn’t quite right not having David there with all of us.  I miss him more and more everyday, but it seems going to family get togethers are harder since I am going by myself with out him.  David was an extension of my heart and soul and now it’s broke in half, but it will be put back together when David and I meet in Heaven and at least I have that to hold on to.  God has really been speaking to my heart and teaching me to be Strong and Courageous and know that He is with me…  and to know that I will see David again, and that God will heal my heart in time.

Psalm 91:1-2

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Clearing up some questions that have been asked!

Hi everyone, I would like to take time tonight just to clear up a few things that people have been asking.  David and I went to Falcon in August and spent 3-4 hours on the opposite side of the lake from the church.  We had a wonderful day and that was our plan on September 30th.  That day we decided to go take pictures of the church which we had never been to before.  We didn’t realize that the area we were going thru was such a high drug traffic area.  We figured there would be no harm in taking pictures and then going to the main part of the lake to enjoy the rest of the day.  We had not heard of any attacks for several months so we decided it would be fine to enjoy one more day on the lake.

Also, I would like to cover why I am going to continue to speak out against the War that is going on in Mexico.  I am very frustrated that our Presidents have not taken the War in Mexico seriously.  There is to much money going back and forth between Mexico and the US. This needs to stop and we need more troops on our borders.  From what I understand the National Guard is the only one who can help Border Patrol in securing our borders but they can’t arrest or hold the illegals until Border Patrol get there. I don’t understand why they don’t have authority to do the job that needs to be done.  I am disappointed in President Obama for not addressing our situation and many others who have been threw the same thing.

My goal is to continue fighting to get David’s body back to the US where he belongs and also getting our government/citizens to start taking action and changing the way we look at Mexico and the drug cartel.  If it means we shut down the border than that’s what we do. If we put 10,000 or more troops on our borders to secure them than that’s what we do.  But we, as a country, need to do something. As citizens we can stop going/buying anything from Mexico and stop hiring illegals.  As for our government they can change a lot of things and change some laws that are supporting illegals living here.  I feel America needs to take care of their own first, not people who come here illegally to take advantage of the system.

I may have lived there for several years but I never felt at risk. The last 5 months before moving to Texas were when it started to get really bad.  The CDG and Zeta’s had a split and that’s when they started to fight each other and fight over the territory.  So I really want to educate and fight for our freedoms as Americans.  I am really new to all of the political stuff and new to what is going on in our country as well as Mexico but I am learning. I know I’m not an expert but at least my eyes have opened to what is really going on.  God Bless – Tiffany

Day by Day

Day by Day, is the only way I can live my life right now.  I just got all our stuff from TX delivered the other day and have 90 days to go thru them to make sure nothing is broke.  This is going to be a challenging task but I know some of it will bring some great memories of my hubby.  With Thanksgiving just a few days away it is going to be hard not to have David there he always brought laughter and excitement with him.  Last year we got to spend a great Thanksgiving with our best friends in McAllen TX, they let us help decorated there Christmas Tree since we haven’t had a tree in 3 years.  I take that back we decorated our trees outside our house in Reynosa but it’s not the same as having a trational tree.  I know that day i’ll want to be with family but that brings it’s own sadness because David was my family and not having him there brings a sadness that surrounds me everyday and I know it will be hard for my family as well as David’s.  We’re going to my grandparents and my grandpa isn’t doing so well so it will be good to see him.  Please pray for him he has cancer and is in alot of pain and just got out of the hospital and is on oxygen.  I pray daily that God will cover him and place his healing hand on him.

I pray everyone has a great Thanksgiving and can really spend quality time with there love ones and make sure to tell them all how much you love and appreciate them.

Love you all,

In loving memory of David

America’s Third War: National Guard’s New Mission

America’s Third War: National Guard’s New Mission   This link is right on except that we need more than 1200 National Guardsmen on the ground.  Just like the sheriff said he needs 3000 in just AZ alone.  That means TX needs just as many if not more since we have a majority of the border.

If I understand correctly at one time the US put 6000 men on the border and by them doing that it cut the illegals coming into the country by 24%.  This needs to be done again but probably even more than 6000.  1200 really isn’t enough but we can fight to get more troops on our borders.  Heres a question, Why are the National Guards not allowed to detain anyone they see coming across the US border.  To me if they’re going to be there they should have the athority to do what needs to be done in order to assist the Border Patrol better.  In allowing them to detain the illegals that are crossing they could hold them until the Border Patrol can take over.  I know there are laws in place for why they can’t but it doesn’t mean the law couldn’t be changed (right?).

Very Frustrated Today

Just felt like getting some stuff off my chest, Today like most days I am getting more and more frustrated that David isn’t home yet. I continually am irritated that if this was a person of authority in our government they would of had their family member back by now (actually by day 1). It really breaks my heart that our government doesn’t seem to care about there own american citizens and aren’t willing to do whatever it takes to get back one of their own. My husband is just as important as any other person. Life just isn’t fair!
I am continually standing strong in my faith and in God and know he is in control and he is good. He was the same before David was shot and he’s the same today. I’m not sure where I would be if I didn’t know God and know that one day I will be reunited with my Hubby. He’s waiting for me and I’m sure helping God prepare my mansion in heaven. Until we see eachother again my love I will always and forever love you and will continue to fight for you and our country.

Jan Brewer slams challenge to AZ Law by Foreign Governments

Please watch this video it will give you an eye opening experience to what is happening to our country and how Obama is allowing other countries to control what goes on in the US.  This is America and in my opinion they don’t have any rights to what happens in our country or our states.

Border Wars Featuring David Hartley Murder

National Geographic hosts a show called Border Wars detailing the struggle along the U.S./Mexico border. This weeks episode airs Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. MST and features David Hartley’s story.

Excerpt from National Geographic website:

National Geographic Channels Border Wars special Murder on the Lake is a ripped-from-the-headlines television event that confronts one of the most serious threats to American security today. Our cameras return to the scene of David Hartleys murder on the otherwise placid looking Falcon Lake, and retrace his final hours through the eyes of his grieving widow Tiffany. Expert interviews explore how Davids suspected murderers, the Zeta cartel, operate along the Texas/Mexico border, funneling drugs and illegal immigrants northward — ready to kill anyone who strays into their path. Davids murder has brought into focus the growing fear that the violence may be heading north.
