My First Christmas in Heaven

My First Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless
Christmas trees
around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven’s stars,
reflecting on the snow

The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away the tear
For I am spending Christmas with
Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs
that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can’t compare
with the Christmas choir up here.

I have no words to tell you,
the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description,
to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me,
I see the pain inside your heart.
But I am not so far away,
We really aren’t apart.

So be happy for me, dear ones,
You know I hold you dear.
And be glad I’m spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

I sent you each a special gift,
from my heavenly home above.
I sent you each a memory
of my undying love.

After all, love is a gift more precious
than pure gold.
was always most important
the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other,
my Father said to do.
I can’t count the blessing or love
has for each of you.

So have a Merry Christmas and
Wipe away that tear
Remember, I am spending Christmas with
Jesus Christ this year

Touching Story

God’s Wings After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park , forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno’s damage. One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree. Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick. When he gently struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother’s wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had taken her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise. She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies. Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, the mother had remained steadfast…because she had been willing to die, so those under the cover of her wings would live. ‘He will cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you will find refuge.’ (Psalm 91:4)

I like what these companies are doing.  Way to Go….

In Memory of Brian Terry

My heart goes out to the family of Brian Terry.  There are no words to tell you how much my heart aches for you.  Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. ”

Everyday I read this passage from Proverbs 3:1-6  but 3:3 touches me “Let Love and Faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them deep within your heart.”

God Bless the Terry family and know that David’s and my family have you in our prayers and will be praying daily for you.

Channel 5 – KRGV in McAllen, TX

Here is another article from Channel 5  in McAllen, TX that was just reported on Dec 9th 2010.  I figured I would post any articles that are printed, since not everyone is in the valley to hear or read them.

I know it says that we probably won’t get David back but I’m not convinced, God’s word says that whatever satan steals will be returned to me 100 fold and I will continue to stand in my faith and trust in my Lord.  We have heard there have been bodies found in the same area that David and I were.  There is no reason for me NOT to continue to believe that David will be found and I will get my husband back.  God is good and Loves me and I truly believe he will bring David home to me and his family.  No matter who does not believe me or believes we won’t get David back,  all I have to say is I know my God and he is bigger than anything/anyone .  God Bless Everyone, Merry Christmas!!!

Psalm 9:11-12     11Sing praises to the Lord who reigns in Jerusalem.  Tell the world about his unforgettable deeds.   12For he who avenges murder cares for the helpless.

He does not ignore the cries of those who suffer.

Psalm 3: 2-8

2So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!”

3But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.

4I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain.  I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me.

6I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side.

7Arise, O Lord!  Rescue me, my God!  Slap all my enemies in the face!  Shatter the teeth of the wicked!

8Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people.

Mexico/Al Qaeda/Hezbollah

I feel the one thing we as Americans citizens could be doing is contacting your congressmen and telling them about your concerns with the Insecuriy on our borders.  Also, we need to educate ourselves on what is going on in our states and country.  We can’t continue to be naive to the fact that the cartels are in most of the states in the US, also that the cartels  and gangs are linking up with Al Qaeda’s.  Here is a link from The Huckabee Show on Sunday Nov 28th about a deadly terrorist organization called Hezbollah.

I do have to say I am proud of the Mexican Government for finding Tony Tormenta back at the beginning of November.  Mexico officials have just captured alleged regional Zeta boss.  Here are some links to read about them.

I am doing my best to keep up with all of the border issues and new information, and I would ask you to do the same since this is our country and we as Americans need to stand up and fight for our freedoms and if we don’t then we will loose them one by one.  I could not imagine anyone who would want that.  Since our government doesn’t seem to want to bring awarness to the border issues then WE need to bring the awarness to our state officials and citizens and start making the difference.  If you watch the news you can see now that the media is bring more and more awareness to Mexico and the cartels which is what we have needed them to do for a long time.  I will continue to send you more links and keep you updated the best that I can.  Talk to you all soon….

Missing My Honey

It’s already been two months and it’s still hard to believe.  I truly believed in my heart that we would have David back by now and we could finally feel some closer.  Everyday that goes by it is getting harder and harder to be without him.  Anytime I think of David and it was something that happened in our live together I am writing it down so I can go back and read them when I’m feeling lonely and missing him.  Yesterday I was thinking of when we first met.  We knew of each other  thru mutual friends but never talked to each other.  My sister and her best friend Brian wanted to go dancing (which is what we did most Sunday nights) at the Sundance Steakhouse and David was best friends with Brian so we all went together.  That was the first time we talked and he asked me why I never talked to him, and well I came back with the same question.  We flirted all night and exchanged numbers and thats were it all began.  It wasn’t love at first site but over time he stole my heart.  I can’t begin to tell you how much I miss him and how much I wish he was here with me.  It’s time for God to bring him home!  I know God can make the impossible happen and that is my prayer now and that he helps us fight this battle because we can’t do it without him.  God I leave it in your hands!  Love you babe, see you soon
